Looks like you are "MAKING A SILK PURSE OUT OF A SOW'S EAR !!!!" It is nice to save some old iron from the scrappers who just look at the weight ticket . Once some old iron is gone it is gone for good. I was in the right place at the right time to hear about 4 B Model Mack trucks that were going to the junkers and I made an offer and bought them. One Dump "Old Blue" we drove home after a pull start from setting 10 years. One rare sleeper cab Mack Tractor ran after some tinkering. One donor truck with a bad crank has saved another Mack tractor with bad head and piston. One Mack tractor was a LST with aluminum cross members and spring hangers and may be put back on the road some day. Old Blue the single axle dump truck will stay mine along with my Deuce and 5 Ton. Good luck on your project. Mark
