i think i broke my winch...i broke it.. please help

I recently pulled a winch setup for my deuce from a truck being parted out.... There was a wire loop hanging from the front engine / radiator mount with a bunch of shear pins hanging from it. I thought it was a clever place to keep them, when you crawled under there to replace a broken pin you couldn't help seeing them hanging there. Of course I'll keep mine in the map compartment, 'cause I'll know they're there!
