Just a note to those with multi fuel units who add any ATF to their tanks. The dye in ATF will show up as Off Road fuel if DOT dips your tank. Eddy

All off road diesel tickets must be sent to the lab for results to confirm

For those of you who do not know this. If an officer dips your tank or swabs your tailpipe with your permission then it is an illegal search. Especially if you are not hauling commercially. Dipping the tank is searching an area of your truck that does not fall under the plain sight clause
