I will pay $20 dollars to the first person who posts a picture of M35A3 jackshaft installed with ruler showing ujoint center to center!!!

Like the title says I need the center to center INSTALLED distance of the ujoints of the M35A3 jackshaft . I am willing to pay 20.00 via PayPal to the first person who gets me a picture with a ruler! I need this measurement before I drill holes for the crossmember . I had gotten a guestimate before of 6 1/2 inches and I can't open it up past 5 1/2 on the one I have. Sooner is Better

It's hard to measure, hold a flashlight, and take a picture at the same time, but it's about 6" on center, plus or minus about 1/8".

Maybe it's full of grease? Take the grease zerk out and see if you can pull it apart farther. Will the dust cover unscrew?

Well you gave me the courage to pry the HECK out of it and I got 6 1/8"! It was all Suction of the grease inside! I am going with 5- 3/4" seperation to play it safe.

This is a M35A3 shaft they look a little stubby!...it is the red headed stepchild/Mutant of the M35 family. LOL!!!
