So... I have a registration situation that I'm wondering how difficult it will be to rectify.
Seems that I received my title (from PA) and it lists my BMY M925A2 as a "2012" model year.
This is what was on the government paperwork after the Army 're-build'- and apparently they would not amend the title to reflect reality.
I (of course) would like to register the vehicle in my state (CA) as a 1991 (which it really is) and get 'Historical Vehicle' license plates for the truck.
Anyone else - especially in California - have this problem? I'm hoping a VIN Verification will suffice with the DMV office. Note: I tried to do this with Auto Club - but was told that they can not register (heavy GVWR) trucks. It's seems obvious that there can't be a 2012 BMY. This would be like saying you have a 2102 Studebaker... the company simply didn't even exist in 2012.
Any advice is appreciated.
