I am getting very good at rebuilding the front suspension as I have tried a number of combinations of parts to get my M998 to look level. Currently running 2" body lift, 2" lift coil spacers, and uncut armada springs in the front but the shock is limiting how far the front wheel will extended down. My initial thought is to weld a plate over the existing upper strut eye bolt hole and drill a new one slightly lower. (I suppose I could also cut it at the bottom mount and reweld) but before I go down this road I wanted to see if anyone has done anything similar?
