Anyone found a source for the indented hex head bolts that hold the windshield assy to the body. I have braced myself for flaming and the "hey just put a dang bolt in it", but thought I'd be different and ask. They are
3/8-24 X 1 1/4 and I've found plenty of 3/8-16 's. Oh well at least I probably got your attention.
Thanks
Randy

Can you add a pic please? My trucks are not near and it is driving me nuts trying to picture the bolt you speak of. Do you mean allen bolt? or cap screw?

Thanks for the help, JasonJC's pic is the bolt I'm looking for. It has a indented head and
no flange (built in washer). I've found some on line but they'er 3/8-16 - coarse thread, I'll keep looking
Thanks

The simple answer is, if everything else fails; order flanged ones and remove the flange with a grinder.

Do you just need one set?

Not sure of the purpose of the indentation.
It may so that there's more "hex" for a wrench to grab or it may be nothing more that a by-product of the head formng process.

Just thought I'd stick with what came out, well several of the originals came out in more than one piece and
with the aid of a drill bit. I guess I'll decide when the wndshield's ready to go back on. Thanks for the input.

"Tighten it 'till it strips, then back off a quarter turn"
