.... some staggering increases on key items. Check out what the screen control unit for the AMMPS line goes for now: https://shop.cummins.com/CSSNAStore/s/product/a2w4N000003sFLhQAM/onan-control-box-module-a035e320

This same item was listed for a little over $11k just a month ago!
They gotta pay for the diesel fuel to get it there & into their inventory. :cautious:

Speaking of diesel... I drove past my local neighborhood fuel station and diesel here is now up to $5.89/gal. My only gas vehicle takes 90+ octane so I use Shell's V-Power in it which was always the price leader by a good margin over diesel, now its starting to look like a bargain compared to diesel. Oh well, I can now only reminisce about the good ole days when diesel was less than 50 cents a gallon. :cry:

$5.40 here
Honestly, its making me not want to properly exercise my 803a every month.
.
I would agree with you @nextalcupfan , but early on in my green truck career I let things sit around for several months. Then I had to spend weeks getting my little green babies to wake up and drive. I don't have any desire to help fund Go Brandon's crazy ideas - but I crank what I have and they get about 45 minutes a week of run time. I call it going down the road and around the corner. Not as much run time as I would like, but I can do that regularly.

Don't get me wrong I still exercise it. As a matter of fact I did last week.
But it just makes me frown more when I have to refill it.

I’m on a 3 week motorcycle ride. Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho and maybe a few others. Only in CA did we see prices like this.View attachment 867967

Let's Go Brandon!

Hmmm. Part that seems a little difficult is that Commiefornia already has a problem keeping the lights and air conditioning on. Wonder how these "wizards of green" plan to charge the battery powered car? Maybe turn off the lights and air?

You are so correct. They already have “rolling brown-outs.” The grid will never sustain an all electric society.

One of the grand plans is;
Electric vehicles plugged in charging.
When grid needs power it would skim some back out of the car batteries till the grid leveled out. Then it will go back charging.
Sound strange? Bet its not.

You can also use your car as a backup house "generator" in case of an outtage. Screw that, i will stick to my diesel genny that gives me power and can charge any future EV i might reluctantly buy.
