I have a set of infrared lights and I'm not sure which connector is positive or negative. Does polarity matter on them?

It's just a incandescent bulb inside, polarity doesn't matter.

I stand corrected. The ones I have must have been modified before I got them. But mine are only a single brightness.

If stock, they use a regular 4" tank headlamp with hi/lo beam filaments.
The IR filter is a separate part inside.
