Peter B hasn't been CEO of Progressive since 1999. Glenn Renwick is currently in that position. Lewis is quite the Lefty but then again so is the former CEO of General Electric and dozens of other companies most people spend money at daily.

We use an agent 40 miles away because the town has grown around the farm and the local agents don't know the difference between a bovine and an ovine. For that matter, they don't comprehend anything larger than an SUV.

Unfortunately I have my 813 insured through progressive as well @ about $800/ year. They wouldn't touch it without a commercial policy. USAA won't do a 3 axle vehicle on an auto policy and mine couldn't be written up as an RV. I keep meaning to shop around and get a better company than Progressive for my 813 and ATV.

I have my M328 Bridge support truck insured through State Farm ,$271 per 6 mo. The truck weight is 26400# .Commercial policy and other people can drive it.
