Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Gotta go talk with an agent, it will be on the commercial side. Was the the commercial side or the private owned side?
An M35 is on a State Farm commercial policy.
Go talk to a local agent.
yes that is what I have found also, not to mention that is very expensive relative to what others are paying . and I can't switch on my insurance around for 1 vehicle . my search continuesTry calling John Lokting, 503-252-5581. He works at state farm, insures my deuce for aboutr 40ish a month. The only thing is I had to have a civy rig insured also, as they wont do a commercal only policy by itself for anyone under 30.
To get an accurate quote, you will need to provide this info. It is also their way to see if you are serious. So, based on how many of you are happy with State Farm, today I called my local SF agent. He would not even say hello to me unless I gave him my driver's license number, DOB and SSN. Needless to say I will not go any further with State Farm since there was no need for this information to be disclosed at this level of the conversation.
That would have been the end of the call for me also. Especially no need for them to have my SSN.So, based on how many of you are happy with State Farm, today I called my local SF agent. He would not even say hello to me unless I gave him my driver's license number, DOB and SSN. Yes, and there is a big difference between having a general introductory conversation before you get into the gory details. To get an accurate quote, you will need to provide this info. It is also their way to see if you are serious.
All of the insurance companies will quote you a general figure and if you read the find print, it in fact states that you prices may go up or down depending on the initial info you submit.
I have spoken to the folks Gulfway and suggested they look into advertising on S/S.This would solve a lot of problems. Maybe it is something that we should all look at and talk with our Insurance Agents about and then we could have the problem resolved and the Insurance Company could even advertise on SS and SS would benefit as well as all the SS members; sort of like a CoOp program. Just a thought. My mind wondered there for awhile...back to the issue at hand; I would try Gulfway Insurers at Gulfway Insurers - A Leader in the Specialty Insurance Industry or give them a call at 1-800-940-5010 or email them at gulfwayinsurers@aol.com or staff@racensure.com.

The conversation went like this:So you are *really* going to stand behind the conversation went as follows:
Agent picks up phone
Agent simply says "name, dob, SSN, license number"
You ask a question
Agent hangs up.
I doubt that..
Hmmm... every WEB SITE I go to for a quote wants much more detailed information.
I really hate local agents. I want to give my money to X and get policy Y... and I posted my policy terms and cost in the previous page. I don't want a relationship with an insurance company. I don't care to know their name, or bother me with their sales blather about 'interesting new instruments'. If you need friends visit steelsoldiers.com. If you need low cost (note I did not say cheap) insurance for an M35a2 call State Farm.
Pay more for insurance elsewhere... that will show THEM.
We get it, advertisements are annoying!
