is this a 58 model?

helobravo in hammond la sent me this pic of one of the 4 trucks he picked up at shelby.. no name on data plate and papers too.. also states year unknown... the last 2 numbers in vin are 58... is this really a redone 58.. cant be?? dont look like the other 58 in town

the mud flaps in rear were on hinges!! the horn is behind the screen in left of pic.. data plate was hand written with a carc date on it 99 i think if i remember right.. jason is building a nice new house and living in his new nice big 2 story shop for now with no internet. so i told him to send me a pic via cell phone an ill post it.. this truck will be for sale soon once he fixes the brakes

Sure looks like an older truck.

The hinged mud flaps and 6 stud light panels point toward an older truck. I assume it is a multifuel? Are the motor mounts rivited or bolted in? Look for exhaust hangers on the pasenger side inside the frame rail. Those are more tell tales of an older truck.

Do you have a picture of the gauge panel? That should be different as well.
