Is this a heater???

I saw this on a deuce on GL today while trying to entertain myself at work.
Is it a cab heater or not???
It showed a picture of the cab and there wasn't a plenum under the dash.
Just never saw anything like it before.

It very well could be a heater. It has the coolant lines plumbed to it, and box about the right size to house a heater core and what looks like a fan. Maybe it's a newer A3 style unit.

I second that. Mine is on the fender driver side.

It's a heater, but off what originally I do not know.

Pretty sure it is an M151 Mutt heater, There are a lot around, cheap, must work OK, JT

I think it is a turbo for the wiper motors.

Yes JATONKA is correct that is a heater out of a M151/A1/A2 MUTT. Ive seen them adapted to m37's and M725's.

It is definitely not an A3 heater as the A3 heater looks almost identical to the A2 heater except it is in the cab under the dash...and has a slightly higher output.
