Yet they will keep on selling selling selling. Making the stack bigger and the wait longer. It is obvious that they are not able to keep up with the demand and the wait time keeps growing.
As long as they have your money in hand what do they care. I bet if we did not have to pay until the EUC cleared the process times would drop.
Right now there is no reason to rush or fix the issue.
They should tell people, hey you can buy it but do not expect to be able to get it for 3 or 4 months...

I think at this point GP should think about refunding some or all of their "processing" fee as they sure as heck are not "processing" things in a timely manner. To make it better Fox News who ran all the stories about the HUMVEEs being sold has caught wind of the months of waiting so I would love to see them run that story.
Yes you can now buy an "Off highway Only" Military HUMVEE but don't think you will see it in time for any winter snow!!!

Hmm I'll accept defeat on the no refunds, maybe I should go up the chain and argue for processing fee back I see that more foreseeable then a total refund. But alas another part thinks to quit poking the bear until I have my honey at home. I will be inquiring tho about months later auctions getting cleared ahead of of me and anyone else on this thread.

I have asked about the why do I see people getting approval many weeks faster than mine, "oh it is with the gov we have no control" tired of that excuse for everything. I can say I will not buy anything else from GP that requires an EUC. I have lost all faith in GP

I think them not getting money till theeuc clears is a great idea. They would be finished in less than half the time they are now. I love how they keep changing their wait times when I call as I'm sure they knew from the very start how long it'd take.

I wouldn't go that far personally. I would, however, not pay full retail for said item.

Maybe by end of year I will get approval. As the GP rep here said the backlog keeps growing. On a good note that may help light a fire under their back side to find a solution and stop just blaming TSC, Gary Gastele who wrote on Fox how the HUMVEE sales are such a success has heard how upset people have become with the process after the sale he is going to research it and do a follow up story on how it went from so good to so foul for the buyers. Great, you get a HUMVEE for 1/5 what it cost originally. Does not do you any good sitting in a yard while you wait months to get it.
Another 60 HUMVEEs going up today, the wait times will only get worse and worse as they are not doing anything to make the process any better. Who the **** wants to wait 3+ months for a "toy" it is not an exotic sports car being made in Italy. I was picking up an item from GL and they are laughing at this EUC debacle. DON'T SELL WHAT YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO DELIVER !!!!

From the latest call, the process is they take from the top of the pile, each time they send over another 50 or so applications it gets put on TOP of the pile. So unless they have a good week and get past the new "top" people with the older auctions will be waiting longer and longer...
Stop selling until the backlog is cleared up. "We are under contract to clear the storage lots" well if nobody can pick up their item they sure as heck are not clearing anything... I am pretty sure they are tired of people calling about EUCs but hey, fix the issue and people will stop calling.. They have gone to "canned" answers now. It is the government. So tell them, we are not able to sell what can't be delivered in a timely manner...

This is so infuriating, with my luck my paper has came to be next for the last 4 weeks, only to be toppled with another 50 papers. I'm not going bald because of my job it's pulling my hair out because of these nitwits. Don't serve the 3 month old papers let's just keep putting the most recent on top and really anger those guys who've been waiting 1/4 of a year.

It's infuriating for all involved. I can't make the decision to stop selling and I doubt they will. I do know that the DLA and TSC had a meeting yesterday with a lot of information we have provided them including quotes from this thread... I will let you guys know what I hear...

From your stand point and affiliation with the company what's my chances of calling and fighting for a partial or complete of refund of the processing fee, since I and others are sitting over 70 days?

Jwade, Thanks for joining in. I think that the short term fix to keep people from walking away is not paying until the EUC clears. Always remember, follow the money. They want money, get them to do their job is a realistic timeframe. There is no incentive to get the job done when you/they have already been paid.
There are what, over 2000 now sold, people will start looking at them to buy and be willing to pay a bit more as to not have to wait wait wait...
Just a really bad business model from the start and the effort to resolve it has not done anything as of yet.

Something I found on the GP web site that kind of shocked me:

Sales of DLA Disposition Services origin property for which EUCs have not been approved by TSC within 60 days of submission will be canceled by IronPlanet at our sole discretion without liquidated damages to the Buyer."

Things are looking a bit more fishy here...

I don't know the reason for this statement but I am sure there was one when it was put in. I don't foresee us every using that unless something extreme went on...

Honestly that's really not my area so I don't want to speak of that in which I know nothing about...

I agree and the talk of this has picked up drastically... Ultimately the fix in our mind is get this fixed. I do think a big part of the problem is the "canned responses" from Customer Service, I wish they would say look at this point we have no clue, and the whole its in a stack is pure speculation they don't have a clue how the TSC handles this. We do have an employee in Battle Creek but its very hard for him to get things done when you have some gov employees that sit at a desk and tell you they have 4 years 136 day 22 hours 14 minutes and 32 seconds until they retire.... and quite frankly their reputation isn't on the line. I am positive that we have our flaws in this too but it is a LARGE part of how many of these things are getting approved. There was a week not to long ago where literally 9 got approved and we sitting here pulling out our hair... I've probably said too much so I better stop...

^^ 2.5% is reasonable

We don't blame you jwade, you're just a man working for the company. Don't take anything personally.
I don't, However I am the type of person that takes pride in what I do and who I work for. Which makes me frustrated when things aren't going according to plan.
