A guy can only hang his head with his hands in his pockets and kick pebbles around for so long without really wondering what's going on.

What's the best way to judge when your EUC was submitted? I have an email from the EUC dept that says "your EUC looks good and will be submitted with the next batch". I received THAT on 6/30, but when I check my "track EUC" page in my GP account, it says "submitted pending approval - last updated 7/6/16". Is THAT the date by which I'm counting or what?

It isn't that I'm impatient as that I work 400 miles from home. I make the drive home to see the wife and kids every two weeks. We're both super excited to see the humvee, and it is 300 miles in the opposite direction from home. Home is in Logan Utah, work is in Saint George UT, and the humvee is in Barstow CA. It would just be easier to plan trips home if I had a better idea of how long I've really been waiting. Thanks for the input, and congrats to all of you guys who've been approved!!

I would go by the 7/6 date. If I had to guess I would say your EUC should be approved around 10/11 or 10/18. Again, that's just my guess. Good luck to you.

I don't mind a little more waiting as much as having no idea when to expect it. I fully understand that there are zero guarantees with it, but it's nice to have a realistic if even ball park guesstimate based on the experiences of others. Thanks for the insight! How is that trail monster treating you so far?

Edit: Forgot to ask, Is it always on Tueday that approvals are issued?

I had to laugh out loud. Sparo, you're a beaut of a good luck charm. 20 minutes after posting, that fateful email came through. Approved! Woo hoo!!

Purchased 6/28
EUC submitted 6/7
EUC approved 9/26

Now to hunt down that mystical galvanized Uhaul trailer... Anybody have a part number or some such clue?

I keep forgetting to include that. It's an M998 humvee. Item# 723869. I have a friend who bought one in February. I was able to measure his truck once upon a time, but I don't see him very often. I remember it being something like 83" wide at the hood latches across the bottom of the windshield. Are there any reports of this specific galvanized later model Uhaul trailer being used successfully?

88dow I bought mine the same day as you on 6/28. It's been 12 weeks so I hope I get approved tomorrow
I hope so too. It's a serious bummer to be in the dark so long about it. Trust me, considering my luck, if I can get approved, anybody can. I was almost to the point of wanting my money back just to be done with the wait. I was fine browsing and taking my time choosing which one to bid on. Once my money was out, I wanted that thing RIGHT NOW.

Long time lurker on this thread first time poster

Purchased 6/28
EUC submitted 6/7
EUC approved 9/26 *My first ever EUC on anything and yes this is a Humvee

Received a e-mail from govplanet at 11:33 AM EST. My item is #733099 Just in case anyones curios. Also for the guy who had ask about pickup. I called govplanet told them I wanted to pick it up the gave me a number contact info and address for who I had to pick it up from. The guy I called couldn't have been more pleasant. It's at Fort Campbell but pickup is from a civilian facility off base. I asked about pickup dates/Times Monday and Tuesday only with times by appointment. I told him my trailer doesn't have a winch and I was concerned about loading if truck wouldn't start(listed as running by GP). He told me that e would make 100% it was running and would be exactly as describe during pickup. He also said loading it wouldn't be an issue and that they would take care of me. I know this is a bit long winded, but I know many people are asking these questions so I did my best to give plenty of details. Also even though we didn't communicate directly thank you Jwade for all you do.
