Sorry that it has been such a long time!



I am researching mounting dual caliper hydraulic disc brakes on my Rockwell H172 rear axle in preparation for Casa's 2024 remodel and landed on SS because of the M35 axle brakes swaps people have posted here... And I thought I'd offer a "howdy" to you guys!

The current front axle:



The new front axle ( that I'll be modifying for dual caliper as well):



You will see in the picture an additional machined top knuckle on the right spring perch, it will replace the un-machined one on the right to receive a steering assist ram .

That's awesome!! I didn't even see the front of the car. I thought the "pod" windows were cool enough by themselves.

I noticed the Studebaker roof is turned 180 degrees. The wraparound rear window is now the front window giving the car a more streamlined appearance. The car was originally a 1950 Studebaker Starline Coupe, a beautiful car even today.

Good to hear from you again. Glad to see the rig still rolling along. Never did put a camper on the bigford. Put a dropside cargo on instead.
