LARC going to be cut up in England

Just looking at that one pic, all I can say is that is not a LARC. the LARC does not have a loading ramp on it, would venture a guess that it is a BARC.

The BARC was renamed in 1960, to the LARC LX. The only LARC that does not have a loading ramp in the LARC V (5 ton). The LARC XV (15 ton) looks almost the same as the LARC LX, smaller of course, one engine and 2 headlights on each side next to the loading ramp. The LARC LX has 4, 671 Detroit Diesels, and only one headlight on each side. I was part of a crew that drove a LARC LX 20+ miles through downtown Nashville, TN. in Jan. 2005. It went to a car museum in east Nashville.
