Very nice - kinda looks like the box belongs there. Got a question. Back a bunch of posts, someone had a theory that if you go fast enough in a rainstorm, the rain goes over the windscreen, and you stay dry. Is it true?

This is not a theory, it's true. It happened to me when I recovered my M923. When I got home I was damp but not soaking wet.

If everyone here kept their innovation to themselves this site would become a MV repair site.

Absolutely true - and if some idiot decided to do it and thought I was recommending something I could be make LIABLE as well - I have no idea how someone else works or thought process - and I spent a lot of time figuring this all out just from measurements - I cannot see any obvious reason I would give the time I spent UP FOR FREE - I owe no one anything - not even advise. Reason some of us buy these is that we are already aware of almost everything we might run into with NO HELP. Now take it a step farther and start converting these into something else - all I can say is you better have your arse wired tight and some already close friends and a pocket full of money.

One reason I took the original M109 build thread off - reason other members have removed their threads - I am not a help line to build stuff over the phone.

Just a thought - just to ask where to place U bolts and what size is an already indication someone is above their head - this is so obvious to those that have done it its a no brainer.

Pretty much the end of my thread on the M909 - its home and as soon as I am done with Swiss's CUCV - I will get onto this - there will no further pictures - hopefully see it at the Ga Rally. I might even rope off the truck about 20 ft away so you have to look at it from a distance.
Thanks to CAMO - Adam - John and Bud for a very long and hard day.It would have killed a lesser man.

Ok now, I know EMD(portajohn) and Ferro took LOTS of pics at every stage of the operation...so WTH are they??
I took one picture with my phone, and John did take lots of pictures, but with Deb's camera!

So these are all there are.

Problem with the water over the windshield is the box created a vortex and swirled it all back into our backs.

I don't care if you take the info to your grave. If i decide to use U-bolts I will just figure it out on my own. I was just trying to save time. Why reinvent the wheel if someone already did it? I am just wondering what this site would look like if everyone took their ideas out and removed their threads. Is this country gone so far down the toilet that people with the same interest can no longer share their ideas without worrying that they will be sued! Oh well another site going downhill!

Maybe the mods should remove all the Vehicle Modification sections since they are liabilities to the members that posted them and possibly the site owners as well.

Yeah - that was my experience in Civy vehicle. From comments thought it might possibly be different because of higher windshield- guess ya gotta go 88MPH
If you go 88 the Flux capacitor kicks in and you back in time!!!
