There are several m109a3 w/w trucks on here from the 87-89 run, wsucougarx has one as well.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Nice truck, I bet it still runs... the '87 I got in Feb. was parked next to it.
Part of their demil standard required removing all indicators of vehicle number. Were just lucky they don't grind off the frame numbers too.Ughh... I have like five of these I need to post up here. Of course, none of them have the data plate anymore. I wish I knew why the air force takes the data plates off of so many of these.
Thanks for posting. Just verifying that the serial number is 1040-10358.Just got the title for my '87 M35A2 (87K1674)
Yes sir, 1040-10358. Going to return it to original green. First have to fix the brakes. Thanks for posting. Just verifying that the serial number is 1040-10358.
The last truck that I've bolded is mine, you are correct on the bumper number with the very faded 3 and Serial Number: 1040-11229 (from left front frame rail). She is a bit of a project with odds and ends things missing, not sure what the AF had planned for it. Had a bunch of mud dauber nests in the engine bay and in the cab i removed, so the truck most likely sat for a while, along with the radiator being drained.1987 M35A2C wo/w
