I suggest you check txdot.gov or your locally DMV.


That being said, it is my understanding that a Class B license is required for a vehicle with a GVWR over 26,000 pounds. I believe an air break endorsement will also be needed. Lastly, a Class A license will be needed if you plan to tow a trailer with a GVWR over 10,000 pounds. Of course this is just my 2cents ...
