Lets talk and over think Coolant

I use the John Deere Cool-Gard II, since I already have it on hand. It's a amber color.

I use this too in my MEP just because that's what is already around. I honestly never thought about what "kind" it is. Is this JD's own special type of coolant? or is it in the same ballpark as Rotella ELC? I'll admit that I don't understand all the differences in the different color coolants. I avoid mixing and matching because I don't know what is safe to mix (in an emergency).
