LMTV foot brake / treadle valve rebuild kit

I finally found a rebuild kit that works for the foot brake / treadle valve. I ordered it from Europe and it had everything to rebuild the valve. The part number is GK43082

Did you ever rebuild the brake pedal valve with your kit? I found the kit for 19 euros and wonder how it worked out seeing as everyone in the states want about $200.

I rebuilt my spare but I haven't used it yet. Seemed like everything was correct when I compared the new parts to the old.

Are we absolutely sure there is not a Treadle Valve more commonly available now; that could just replace this, leaving future issues easier to deal with?

The gasket set was ordered today. Price + Taxes + Shipping to my house is 37,20 euro, look to be $39.25 dollars. The shipment to you, have to see, when I get the gaskets.

You are a little late partner. Had you said something early on, no problem. And if they took Paypal, would do it anyway. But they don't. I have to use a bank draft, as I don't do credit card stuff on line. What you could do is go to the web page, order it and have it sent to me. I would forward it.

I wonder how many they can ship for €60? If they can ship 10 for that it would work out to be €6 for each. Also if they ship out of the EU there will be no VAT...

Shipping is all about weight. The one set I ordered, is shipping method 00.00-1.5 KG. 10 sets is going to be in another class.

Vat to me was 6.20 euro. So you save 6.20 euro, but there is no way that will make up for shipping. Try putting 96224 Burgkunstadt, Germany in the shipping to form. See what that gets you.
