I noticed the price on the lmtvs have gone up, anyone else noticing this? Anyone think its going to go down anytime soon?
Would seem to indicate the supply might dry up, like it has the 5 tons.

As they get more popular, more parts availability and more people confident they can deal with the electrical on the trucks there is more demand for them. Surplus prices in general have really been on the rise. Lots of humvees auctioned off every week. Only a handfull of other trucks here and there.

Here are some trends:
1. Overlanding is just starting to become popular here
2. Millennials love Overlanding
3. Fastest growing RV purchaser segment is Mellenials
4. Professional buyers who build Military Overlanding Vehicles are bidding in your auction now (i.e. Global Expedition Vehicles, etc)
5. Fat and ugly people drive RV buses. Baby Boomers want something cooler.

There will be more supply, but you have to wait for major military purchases to put before more of these vehicles into liquidation. Trump is a good thing for LMTV buyers.

The truck prices have been going up slowly, but the M1082 trailers are headed the other way, here in the East, even for good ones. Out West they seem to hold their value better.

That trailer is so darn heavy its just not practical for most applications. With a 1078 you use more than half the tow capacity just on empty trailer weight. The humvee trailers are light and can be used with a variety of vehicles. More practical.

I'll take a spare 1095 if you have one laying around Will.

I like my 1061 around the farm...it's a nice height.

The only thing worse than the 1082/1095 trailers is the M989A1. Far too heavy to be use able by anything...

At least you can back up the M1082, the M989A1 with its steerable front end is forward only. I passed on 5 of them local here @ auction a year or so ago due to that.

The 1095's have become hen's teeth.
Yea, I know. I was 3 days from having the money from a sold truck and didn't want to get in the position of having the bill and not the money on hand. I got off and it went $1200...but from Arizona would have had about $1500 in shipping or more. Still, it would have been worth it, around $3000.
