Hi just had a question have 1992 bmy 932a 5ton 6x6 took mudding had front wheel locked only turned 3 wheels I am wondering are they open diff?

If so why and anything can do to lock the diff so all wheels turn

Yes, most of them are open diffs. The Marine trucks have lockers in the axles.

One option is to swap axles with a Marine truck. Or you can buy lockers seperately and install them in yours. A few different options are available for lockers and a few members have/ had Marine axles for sale.

And I don't know why all of them don't have lockers. It would make sense but they don't.

It is quite unbelievable, a military truck without locking axles. And heater, and ctis that works...

What are lockers worth and do you just need the internal axle or the whole hub to hub axle assembly with diff?
