I'm trying to cross reference the fuel strainer element part number to NAPA and they can't find anything. Tried Autozone too. What are you guys doing for this part? I have one genset that had the filters removed. Thanks

Check your fuel pump strainers, mine were clogged. I need to clean out the fuel tank from the triple rinse.

I replaced my missing oil filter spring with a GM 350 engine valve spring. No spring retainer.

I am use the element oil filter until I can machine a custom spin on adapter plate.

Will be replacing the fuel filters with spin on adapters as I collect them, a couple of WIX 24770 bases probably.

Oil and fuel Filters are same for MEP002, parts manual lists a different parts number for the oil filter base but the canister and oil filter group is the same. The oil filter gasket is slightly larger with a OD 4.5, CS 0.125.

Anyone know the napa (or other) part numbers for the filters on these units

I searched a few but am having a headache tracking them down, The units came with the filters missing. I have the cans but need the elements

Thanks Brad

Kind of an old thread, but here is what I have for my MEP-805a. Along with some other cross-references. The filters should be the same for the MEP-806a as well. It appears the John Deere 4039T and 6059T both use the same filters.

Oil Filter Element
- Fram PH20/PH20A
- Napa Gold 1243
- Baldwin BT259
- Fleetguard LF678
- Donaldson P550020
- Wix 51243, 51243MP, CW243MP
- John Deere AR58956
- New Holland LF0067800

Water/Fuel Separator Filter Element
- Fram PS7407/PS7407A
- John Deere RE50455, RE58367, RE62418, RE64449
- Fleetguard FS19516
- Baldwin BF1203
- Donaldson P550351
- Wix 33531

Crankcase Breather Filter Element
- WIX 42841
- Napa 2841

Intake Air Cleaner Filter Element
- Donaldson P182059
- Fleetguard AF1733KM
- New Holland AF0173300KM

Hope this helps ya out.

The PN's that Nonotagain listed are all correct, but I read somewhere that some have wrong size gaskets ( as you found ) and I think the Napa/WIX oil filters need the tabs in the center of the filter bent in to clear the center tube. I know many folks dislike Fram, but they were the OEM filter and they fit perfectly out of the box. Rockauto.com has the oil and fuel for cheap, but not the fuel strainer. So far all mine had strainers that I was able to clean. Ok, I'm ready to be bashed for using Fram filters now...
