looking for mule engine

Anybody Know where to get a mule type engine AO 42 or gen. engine,
in southern California? needing a long block complete. How tough is the switch to a mule engine configuration, from the generator configuration?

Saturn Surplus has the new generator motors. Should be just a simple swapping of the parts to convert to a mule. Bill Watson has beautiful rebuilt mule motors (even have new shrouding) but they are $1100. A fast and simple bolt in.

Here's a link to an article on an A5 that I did for the Veteran's museum last year, including swaping in a gen set long block, this will give you an idea what's involved. Not too hard, I've done several.
