looking for Whistler Turbo

My C turbo is for sale but you have to buy the whole truck, it is still 100% just like it was built by Jeep in 1969. I think it sounds like military, nothing in the Army is quiet, not back then anyway. The truck serves just fine as it is.

what does it take to feed a tank?
three trucks, four trucks? and round and round they go.

but why take an original and change it from primary purpose?

I might actually know the answer to this. Since the M60 tank (the main battle tank in 1969) had a fuel capacity of 385 gallons and a range of 300 miles that leaves you with 0.78 miles per gallon. That is the main reason tanks are hauled in to battle zones. So say you had two tank platoons (8 tanks) and needed them to go 100 miles and back (200 miles total) that's a total of 1260 gallons of fuel. Since the fuel trailers hauled by the deuces where 600 gallons that means at least two deuces where needed for fuel alone. Of course we need to figure in the ammo for the 105mm main gun and the 50 cal and the "Coax" . The Coax holds 2000 rounds in the ready box and there usually was at least 10 more boxes on the floor. Once we start to add up everything that is a lot of trucks running around !
I guess I actually don't know the answer to this question ! I just took the tank to where they told me to go, and shot at what they told me to shoot !
