you know there is no such thing as a m1007. Any CUCV suburban is an owner creation.

The license plate and registration numbers you are all referring to are for NTVs Non Tactical Vehicles.
That would include any of the TMP vehicles. Busses, sedans, civilian pickups and suvs. The CUCV is a tactical vehicle. It should not have been assigned this type of plate. Refer to AR- 58-1 Pg 24-26.

The White plate pictured above is a TMP plate. You can actually decode it with that AR. It tells you how to break it down at least. It also states that a TMP vehicle must be the manufacturers original "gloss" finish of one color and is to be used for DOD business only. The truck from the MING should never have been a TMP... even though i'm sure mine fron NJNG was their coffee getter and they backed it into a Dunkin Donuts.
