M-1009 rebuilt driveshaft.....

Well I took the advice of the Steel Soldiers experts and had drive shaft balanced. It needed new u joints so it was kinda a no brainer. The guy said the weights that were on it were 180 out. So in other words he just put the same amount of weight opposite from where it was.

2 U joints installed + balancing = $96.00

The original u joint from the factory was still in the front.

He also said they were just common Chevy Blazer U joints. I would have figured they would have been something like 1 ton u-joints....Curious.

Wow that driveshaft must have been BAD! It really rides smooth now, I can only hear tires humming now.

Best $100 I've spent so far.
