Will this work, or do I need different brackets. If I need different brackets, who has a set laying around ?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
My current windshield does not lock in the upright position. No pins, or the correct ones away way ??.The A1 and A2 brackets are different. The good news is the bolt patterns are the same. I'm not sure if there's an advantage to one over the other or not.
I did this conversion on my '65 A1 about 15 years ago so that I could benefit from the electric wipers which here in California is almost meaningless! LOL Something you want to keep in mind is that there is no ground connection in the 151 or A1 other than through the hinges or windshield retaining pin (which tend to corrode) so I added a short ground strap across the right hinge to guarantee a good electrical connection.
