I never liked the 152mm I saw a test firing with an inert warhead. The missile dropped out of the tube spun around on the ground then shot straight into the air, came back down and hit the turret. The second time I saw one fire it almost knocked the tank on its side.

I saw a bunch of Sheridans out at NTC... The only place they could get parts for them was their own cann point. They stopper using them about 5 years ago.

now what round did you see, the missile or the caseless ammo..there were several types of ammo for the 152mm gun.

it was the missile what I was told was the rocket chambers didnot all fire at the same time that was the biggest problem with the missile

Those pics look like they were taken in back of Range Control at Hood. RC had tons of 60's for targets going out across the cattleguard...

we used to get parts off of them when we were allowed. the museums there got first pick of parts and vehicles out there
