Please check my procedure.
1-remove wheel
2-remove locker assembly
3-remove caliper and secure with wire
4-remove 2 axle nuts and tab washer
5-remove 6nuts and lock washers from nuckle
6-remove spindle and associated bearings, rotor,
parts as a complete assembly
7-pull out axle shaft assembly
Can I do this, or am I missing something?
I would like to be able to do this so I can change out the kingpin, bushings, and bearings now,
and change out the wheel bearings and seals at another time. I have to do this on the street in front of my house, so I can't have my truck non operational for more than 12 hours at a time. I am partially disabled so I am not as fast as the rest of you are.
Thanks,
Bruce
