m1009 parts in southern California

Does anyone need any m1009 parts before i take it to the junkyard?

It's ptetty much just a shell.. both axles are good. the top is good. good drivers door. steering box. hydro boost. rear seat. i'm not shipping the parts. i just dont want to see these parts go to waste if someone close by needs them.

What junkyard were you planning on taking it to?

A member here on the forum owns Walker Auto & Truck Wrecking in Hesperia. That might keep the good parts "in the family", so to speak.

I'm not sure what junkyard. Ill pull all the useable parts off before I drag it in. Its definately junk. It has a giant crack in the frame by the steering box.

A cracked frame does not equal junk. That's about $3k you are throwing away.

Exactly what I was thinking but figured to each their own.

It's beyond a cracked frame. Almost every body pannel is trashed. the one seat that came in it is shreaded. Im using the bumpers and tranny on a diffeerent blazer projet I'm building. I sold the 6.2 that was in it. I just have too many projects around here right now. 2 m1028s, 1 m1008, 1983 blazer that is being blessed with many of my m1009s parts. 1981 one ton 4x4 dually,1984 chevy 3/4 ton 4x4, All in differnt stages of restoration.

I live in Santee area and own a 1009. How does the dash cover on your truck look? mine is pretty bad. Where are you located?
