M101A1 Modified to Dump

Does anyone know if a M101A1 can be converted/modified to a dump trailer??

Piece of cake, just got done doing 11 of them Under $100 in parts and 20 minutes labor per trailer. Doing one with a 12 volt electric pump this weekend for a buddy who's too lazy to pump the lever

I'm with buddy . . .too lazy to pump. Are there plans/parts list out there that I can buy? Any ideas to get me started would be appreciated.

All we do is make sure the brakes are properly adjusted and then we have quick pins where there is usually bolts holding the trailer to the frame area on the front and then just set the brakes and back against the trailer...trailer dumps...

The only other thing that I do with mine is to make sure that the wiring is connected to the frame and not to the bed (I've had it happen on one and ripped the harness when I went to dump it the first time...).

Guys,

Here are a couple pics of one of the trailers I have recently sold.

I pulled two 1/2 inch bolts, set the parking brake, and backed the truck up.....

A couple of pointers:

-- Loosen the bolt that attaches the draw bar
-- Remove one of the P-Clips that retains the wiring harness

They are VERY hand for dumping old decking! Unfortunately we "toungue loaded" it too heavy, and had to unload by hand.

1/2" tractor hitch pins replace the front body mounts perfectly.
