M1028 (C30 or K30)?

while looking for part i thought i read that a M1028 was a C30. then i read it is a K30. so far the parts i ordered were for a 6.2L diesel and that is the same. now i am looking for a replacement dash and i don't want to screw-up. can someone help? if you search C30 and K30 posts comeup under both.

sorry, i should have given more information. he is a 4x4, M1028a2/a3, 5/4 ton, dually.

i typed in m1028 and m1028a2/a3 and all i got from FAQ was:

Darwin- on top of the cucv forum there is a yellow link that says FAQ article. Read that, then there is an another FAQ. It is about 11 pages total about half of that is useful. I think you are getting confused with the search engine. If you want to search go to advanced search and type in what you want to know then click cucv section.
