m105 frames

What happened to all those poor m105 trailers stripped of their beds for bobbers? Reason I ask is I have this idea to cut the frame just in front of the spring mount on one and weld it to the rear of another and put a flat bed on it all. Opinions?

It would be pretty tough to maneuver with 4 wheels spread that far apart wouldn't it?
