YepFixed?
Not too slow. Is it fire and forget? Or you holding the switch? And now it's powered!
It's a little slower than I would have chosen but it will probably only be used once we've set up camp and not every time the door is opened. It's also a bit loud, but I do suspect it will be a little quieter once it's painted, paneled, and insulated.
maybe isolate linear actuator with rubber dampeners to stop vibration transfer to tubular steel?Fire and forget, auto stop in both extend and retract.
As it should be with powered.Fire and forget, auto stop in both extend and retract.
.If loudness can be fixed great solution.
You did push the start button right?Well I don't know about your truck Tim but mine is quiet.
This is not going to turn into the Justin Wilson joke about the cajun buying his first chainsaw is it??? lmaoYou did push the start button right?

Thats great no wonder your eye swole up getn hit by wasp i HATEem i would have burned the jeep and all to reward their bad behavior and then thrown a party to show the rest of them what awaits hostile advances lol..
Absolutely!! What the heck IS that noise!?
Hey, I am almost back to normal.
Went for a ride yesterday and my depth perception is back to normal.
AND the honeybees were exonerated!
The ball of wasps under the fender of the jeep came roaring out a couple days
ago. Zipping all around. They were made oily and lifeless!
Honeybees haven't been interested in what I have been doing and that makes me happy.
Not very concerned, truth be told. I think the mic was a little sensitive as there wasn't any background noise, and in any case, I'm over it already. The step does exactly as it needs to and the wife is happy(!) with it. Task has been crossed off the list and have moved on to other items.I think the sound is alright for the rare times you would ever hear it but if You are concernd with it they make a 12 volt screw drive motor thats small and quite they use to extend couches in to beds on motor homes . The ones we used on bus's were quite
Just start the truck.
Steps are SILENT !
As i thought but i thought i would throw it out there .From the looks of it you probly wont use it that much step height doesnt look high at all Keep up the good work!!Not very concerned, truth be told. I saw lots of other options out there when spec'ing out an actuator. This one was IP65 rated (outdoor use, water spray and dust) as opposed to others which were lesser-rated (or not rated at all). It's going to- or actually does work already. Moving on...
Does it run?...Well I don't know about your truck Tim but mine is quiet.
