M1101 Modification for Side Racks

I dislike the fact the M1101 doesn't have sideracks. Also dislike the fact it's hard to find tarps and bows for a decent price but that a different matter.

Wondering if anyone ever did a mod to put sideracks on it? Maybe use the HMMWV sideracks as a base to begin the mod and let the welding and rigging begin.

I slapped up a set of HMMWV troop seats to transport vets last summer. The stock seat set is too short so really didn't take the time to set them up for the bows as it was a field expedited Mod to carry vets. #1

Looks like a few brake pressed plates that bolt in the location of the bow brackets would work
Make them the height of the wood rails you wish, and cut some nice oak stake sides.
The front and back corners will strengthen the sides when they are all locked together.
