M1102 Rivet question / Bracket Relocation problem

I have done some forum searching and looked for the TM on the M1102. I cannot seem to find the size of the rivets on the trailer. I am very unfamiliar with the world of riveting.

I am relocating the bracket for the leveling jacks, (or whatever they may be referred to as) and i am currently holding it in place by self tapping screws... which don't seem very solid. My two thoughts are to find a sheet metal anchor that may hold this in better, or get a rivet gun that can handle the size of the rivets on the M1102

I don't know very much about rivets and force required to engage different sizes, etc -forgive me.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. THANKS!

A lot of the rivets on that trailer are called Mono-bolts. Probably a brand name. I have some of them from a purchase I made on a certain large auction site. They are a 1/4" in size. I bought a rivet gun from Sportsman's Guide cheap that can do 1/4" rivets. They sell for at least twice as much on AMAZON.

http://www.sportsmansguide.com/productlist?k=riveter only $19.99

Howdy,
Is it a m1102 trailer plain, or is it a m1102 generator unit?
I have the m1102 with generator and the rear support leg uses a Huck Magna Lok fastener MGLP-B12-12, which is a 3/8 hole. I am myself looking for a place which will have the tool to do this big rivet. It uses 3 of these rivets to hold the rear support leg.

I was referring to the brackets on the front of the standard M1102 - SilverEagle circa 2009 version that I have - the brackets in the front to mount the jack/stabilizer legs - i moved them (see picture) and wanted to find the rivets to put in place in the new spot

When you find out who sells this tool, can you post your results ? I'm also looking into getting a large rivet tool. Right now my gun can handle up too 1/4" size at 100psi pressure. I have a "Matson" manual large rivet tool also, but it cannot handle this big of rivet either. Thanks.

I got my LAZY TONG riveter from Sportsmans and bagO'rivets from EBay today. FANTASTIC is all I have to say. GOOD CALL ON THIS RIVET TOOL. It is definitely NOT intended for tight spaces, but it's exactly what is needed to modify these trailers. It's very easy to operate and it makes these rivets crush SOLID. It makes me have so many more ideas for add - ons now. THANKS AGAIN!
