M1102 Trailer in Deuce Bed

According to the specs in the TMs, an M1102 trailer should fit in the bed of an M35A3, albeit a tight fit. Has anyone actually done that? I would feel better if I knew that someone had actually moved an 1102 in a deuce bed before I try it many hours from home.

I've done it in an M923 bed. I believe the width is the same and the M923 is 2 feet longer. There was plenty of length to spare in the M923.
