M1114 w/ Soft Top?

I've seen some M1114's lately on GP missing the roof, doors, b/c pillars, etc. I believe most/all of these were originally probably slantbacks.
Are there any challenges with putting a 4 man soft top and soft doors on these trucks?
In addition to a b-pillar and maybe the windshield channel that the top slides into, are there any additional parts (not included in typical 4 man soft top kit) required to install?

Also, it looks like most/all of these trucks have the airbox removed. I assume it has something to do with the demil process, but does someone have more specific detail as to why? Just curious...

As you can see from the pictures, once you remove all the armor, roof etc you are left with the same basic HMMWV body since 1985. No clue why they are pulling the air cleaner.

That was my assumption but I don’t have any first hand experience with slant backs so I didn’t know for sure if there were any connection point or interface differences with them.

Probably easier to remove the armor with the airbox out of the way.
The m1114 armor is not the same as the m552, m1165, etc.

There is also the possibility that some vehicles get cannibalized to make others in better shape more...better.

What's odd about this is these sold complete up until just a few weeks ago. Now all roofs are being pulled as well as slant backs. Its a shame really.

That's so they can start selling the needed pieces separately. Eventually the engines will be extra.
