Tinstar: Your point is well taken. People should read the threads before asking redundant questions. Got it. I think I’ve been pretty clear, though, that I did read the threads. Unfortunately, I am a complete novice and needed the situation with the hub specifically addressed in order to make it clear to me. My bad. Perhaps someday I will know as much about M116 trailers as you. Until that day, though, I apologize in advance for my dumb questions on this forum. Peace and love, my man.

I think you're going to like your 116. I have the M101A2 and it's a solid trailer. Pulls at 70 like it's not even there. I have towed it a lot behind my Cherokee. No problem.
