I will be getting drawing's from Mack so I can have them made....Very nice find. Congrats. Do you have any leads on the 2 davits and the troopseats? I am sure since those are both the davits are near impossible to find and are M125 specific.
Dirt71 That is definitely a "purty" truck!I really do miss this one....
Thank's...I won Best of Show in 2010 out of 116 vehicles that year...Dirt71 That is definitely a "purty" truck!
Thank's for the welcome back Mike, I do not have the facility I once had to do a bolt-by-bolt teardown and restoration like I did in the past. But I will do the best I can with what I have to work with, that being my back yard.Dirt71, welcome back to the 10-tons! I remember reading your extensive posts during the restoration of your previous trucks, I really enjoyed them.
Great save on the 300 Cummins unit! That's a neat piece of history. Is this going to get a bolt-by-bolt teardown and restoration like your previous endeavors?
I can definitely relate to the back yard workshop! No shade tree mechanic'n for me. Out in the boiling hot sun... The only good thing I can say is that having lots of cardboard to throw down on the grass is a nice plus. Get it dirty, pick it up, toss it into the recycle bin and grab some more.Thank's for the welcome back Mike, I do not have the facility I once had to do a bolt-by-bolt teardown and restoration like I did in the past. Look's nice but I don't think my 10 Ton will fit... I will be putting up a pole barn soon and concrete.I can definitely relate to the back yard workshop! No shade tree mechanic'n for me. I recently added power to the gazebo and stuck up a ceiling fan. Makes it a nice place to go sit down and cool off.

No sir not at this time....don't have the shop like I once had. Just going through the truck mechanically at this point and then pressure wash, wirebrush scrap and then a Motor Pool style paint job is all I can do right now. Maybe one day I will be set up where I can do a really nice frame up restoration.Great thread so far. Looking to see your build progress! Are you doing a frame up restoration?
I used to own an M125. At one point, I was talking to Jack Tomlin (long before he passed away) out in Utah about acquiring the correct artillery piece that was towed with the truck. When I heard the price, I gave up on that!Is this truck sort of a holy grail of 10 tons? Did the PO know what they had?
On another note it would look good with a piece of towed Artillery behind it....

Yes sir it is a Super find, I have not heard back from Mack as yet with conformation on what I'm pretty sure I have, but it sound's like with the document's you have confirm's it. Will you give me a call 904-891-0444 DavidAccording to the Military Standard that I have for that particular vehicle it is an M125A1 w/V8 300 ci diesel engine
My M125 was 13 trucks before yours according to my Mack historical documents and they are actually on the same production sheet that Mack sent me.
