Rizzo, I am not positive, but isnt the 135 bed what Westech and FSBruva are putting 135 beds on theirs. Search the forum a little for a post by one of them, and you might dig up some info. I am sure Westy will pipe up and say something though...

BTW, anyone hear from FS in a while??

umm dudes.... here's the poop. a m34a1 is a m35 with a m135 bed and a gas motor. a m211 is a m135 with dual rear wheels and a m35 bed on it. a m135 is a m135, a m35a1/a2 is a m35a1/a2.the beds are all interchangable (mounting points will move some and need welding or something) so go for it!!

An M35 Bed may fit on an M135 if you take the rear wheels off!

The M135 has super singles on it which won't let you put an M35 bed on it. The tires are bigger and won't clear the bed. That is why the 135 and M34 beds have wheel wells. Thats also why the 211 and M35 eventually replaced the 135 and M34, the wheel wells are a pain in the butt!

You could theoretically put an M35 bed on a 135 if you put some sort of spacer between the frame and the bed in order for it to clear the supersingles.

The M35 bed already has a space built into the bed. Take a look at an m35 bed. It has a space that is about 6 inches made into the frame of the bed. It's sole purpose is to raise the bed high enough to clear the tires and have not wheel wells. As already stated the M34 is an M35 with a bed similar to the M135. It had wheel wells just like the M135 and its bed did not have the space built in to the bed sits lower than the m35. I would assume the width is the same but I do not know for sure. I don't know if the M34 bed and the M135 bed are the same but them are very similar.

The M34 and 135 Bed are the same. They are narrower than an M35 Bed, but the holes still line up since all these trucks have a common frame.

The M35 bed is made to clear the rear tires without having a wheel well, but it's made to clear the smaller dual tires of the M35 and 211 and not the bigger tires of an M34 and M135.

I have an M34 and an M35 sitting in my yard right now, and from looking at it, the M35 bed would have very little clearance over the super singles on my M34.

dudes, the box off a 211/m35a1/a2 will clear 11.00x20's no problem on a m35 or the GMC frame. ok end of that. the box off a m34/m135 will clear up to the 11.00x20 tire also with no problems on the m35/GMC frame with no problems!! how do i know? ive done it, and seen it on over 20 trucks at Alfa Racing. you have to remember the 11.00 and the 9.00 tire were offered on all the 2 1/2 ton trucks. super singles for the 11.00 and duals for the 9.00. now yes you wont see a super single m211 unless someone changed it besides the gove, but with the m35 it came with both.

does the M211 have 9.00-20's or 11.00's?

does it matter?
here is the quick answer:

m211(xm) has the same bed as the m35 type truck . has the 9.00X20 tires .
you can put the 11.00X20 tires on it , just dont load it up to max.

the m135 has a narrow bed , was designed for the truck to have single 11.00X20 rear wheels , ( the rims have a diffrent offset ) it also has a risen wheel wells so you can load it all the way up .

all other parts of the truck are the same . but the m135 will go faster because of the taller tires .
