OK Venting here!!!
Just recived a copyright claim to the background music in my video from Dhada Puttistha. The licence for the creative commons is listed per TechnoAxe's requirements in my discription. Being that my videos aren't monatized nor have the 4000 views per year I can not contact YouTube help to mitigate a blatant money grab by someone from India! Arrggh ! Let's see what happens...Dave didn't you say once you'd lay down some tracks for me? If you did I would like some bluesy Swamp Rock instrumental like this track
Thanks in Advance!

That's convenient because I dug out the Dobro last week and gave her new strings. I'm not set up for recording but if I'm sitting around I might find time to figure it out.

I've done a few covers and recently a rendition of Over the Rainbow on youtube. I've kept them private. I'd like to make them public and now that I see you're dealing with copyright issues, I'll wait.

You're the editing pro in the room. How would I get recordings to you?

Wow nice coincidence and GREAT timing! I have a Dobro story for you. When we were cruising through Texas finding the area we are going to relocate to once the youngest is out of high School we went zip lining. I was wearing my Fender guitar shirt...and how you ask the kid wearing the Rolling Stone what her/his favorite song is and after getting the blank stair for awhile they usually reply "oh they were a band? I just thought the shirt looked cool" He was doing it to me "You like Fenders?" Yep I replied I got a Strat and I want a Epiphone hollow body...but she (the wife) would kill me if I got it cause I just don't practice enough and really can't play much. This got him going and he went through his list of guitars the style music he liked and he was venturing into country/western (I think he just relocated from New York) and after searching for 2 years he finally got an Epiphone Dobro!

According to my production manager,/movie camera operator/youtube coach the guys doing the covers put the following info and stipulate in the title guitar cover.

In otherwords find out everyone and their mother who has their finger in the pie and credit them. If you monetize your channel its a whole nother ball o' wax...and I won't even ever gonna go there myself! I will add 2 other things 1. if you can find the music sheets on creative commons...no problem out of copyright..go for it. If it is in anyway connected to Disney, the human race will be extinct and the crap will still be copyrighted. I will add another thought that just came to me...find the cover on youtube from someone with a bunch of followers and copy and paste what he wrote like the above picture.

You're the editing pro in the room. How would I get recordings to you?
Depending on the size email to 12 or so MB otherwise load it up on something like dropbox or google drive and give me the the link. Thanks!

Well Friday morning I had to have an embedded 3/16" piece of metal removed from my eye, from the grinder . Yes I did have safety glasses (they were Home Depot better Rigid brand). Googles will be ordered soon! My eye was irritated Thursday night but didn't think nothing of it, but by Friday morning it was RED....we ouldn't see anything in it though. Iwent to the optometrist and she had a heck of a time getting it out. I know even having my eyeball numb I felt each tug!

I got home and kept sanding on the frame with conscripted soldier B (son). Today we shot it in primer and will stay that way till the front suspension change, transfercase crossmember mount and the front and rear engine mounts done.

My eye is better now and hopefully will weld up the front perches and get them mounted tomorrow but rain is foretasted so I am hopeful, but not certain.

No video? It happens fast doesn't it. I've had stuff come around a full face shield and glasses so having to goggle up is likely better.

We've gone to no risk lock down. I'm even adding adhesive rubber ducks to the tub to reduce slips. Not even letting the Cat walk into the house by himself in case he slips and breaks a hip.

Here's a safety video to help with situational awareness, risk analysis, hazard assessment, risk mitigation, job procedures, safe work practices, training and finally how to select proper Personal Protection Equipment(PPE), like footwear and sturdy glasses.

1/8 inch clearance isn't right Please check my transfer case mounting...I think I need to to get a remeasure on the right(passenger side transfer case mounting holes.
IMG_3005.JPGIMG_3008.JPG
As it sits here 3/4" mis alignment in the horizontal plane and 2.5* off in the vertical with 5 3/4" seperation (THANKS to m37m35 for the measurement!!!!!) I will be going back to school and hitting the Spicer Driveline installation textbook and checking my numbers before I FINALLY finalize my 5 point mounting system (recomended as overkill by Cuimmins in their marine intallation manual) although the front mount will taking up some of the weight is just a little more than a engine travel limit strap on steroids!

I've been trying to lay down some unscripted videos but it's tough. With the human brain having the ability to understand hundreds of words per minute, the delivery speed, pitch, tone, inflection, everything needs to click to pass the approval of many. You'll never please all the critics, including yourself. Having the courage to post a video is everything. You've contributed more to deuce mod education than many others and we can learn together, it's awesome.

I haven't found time to learn how to edit videos. When you find editing software you like, let us know and maybe do a video on it. lol. It's time management that keeps me from learning video editing right now so all of steve76030 youtube stuff is raw. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=steve76030

Speaking of raw, can you clip sound tracks from videos on youtube?
If I record some guitar on the 20 year old Olympus camera then post it on youtube, can you use the music? I'm recording original stuff just to have it but we also record jam sessions, in the bush, raw, sound only. When the zone shows up, it's boogie woogie, then the blues, then Roy Clark, Led Zepplin, Arlo Guthrie, Metallica, Great Big Sea, Jimi Hendrix then it ends with the battery dying usually. Let me know.

They have declawed all the video downloaders I used to use...I can no longer use a download helper to get most videos anymore....but if you put the video in Dropbox, Google Share Drive and the like I can strip the music from the video.

Well I got the
NEW VIDEO from 4.27.20 up on YouTube today give it a watch!

If my numbers are correct, that amount of misalignment will cause the U-joints to be running at an angle of 24.41 degrees. That might be too much. Even if they don't bind, they may wear out fast.

I use FireFox as a browser and "Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express" in the 'Add-ons' section to download YouTube videos. It's free, but you can pay for more options like hi-res and MP3 downloads. You might see if that helps you.

According to the Spicer manual, the short jackshafts should never exceed .5 degrees in the horizontal plane, and should be in perfect alignment when viewed from the top.

I do feel I have something wrong with my mounting. As the front output has an 1/8 clearance under the crossmember (I know part of the problem is the mockup of the passenger frame mount, but even if I lower it some I still won't have the top of the t-case anywhere near the measurements I took of a after A2 mod truck). In my last video I alluded to a probable rear axle mod...this has made the decision easier to not go down that rabbit hole.

I have come to the conclusion that i will be modding the mounting system....It seems the deeper I get into this project I get, the more it is like chop off one head and six replace it...but still 1,000% better all round than going with the NP 205 and lower overall engine/trans/t-case centerline and have more issues.

I will definely check it out THANKS!
