Hey guys. Thought I would share this quick story. A friend of mine picked up an M211 this past weekend. The truck has been sitting for around 10 years. The gas tank had been removed by the previous owner and needs some TLC. My friend bought a gas tank for an outboard motorboat and an electric fuel pump. He adjusted the transmision band (previous owner had issues with trans), put in new batteries, tied the fuel tank to the bumper, ran power for the fuel pump and added brake fluid. The truck fired up and ran with little effort! I escorted him as he drove the truck 30 miles to his pole barn with no issues! And the transmission functioned properly! Only issue was that he stopped and put more gas in along the way! Here is a video of it pulling out on the road for it's 30 mile trip!
