M35 no brake lights

no brake lights , power to the switch on air pack, none coming out , replaced with new switch same thing any ideas????

Seized airpack. No air pressure to switch.

Were the air tanks pressurized when you tested the brake lights?

Katahdin , yes they were aired up, jeepsinker, the reason I replaced it when I would hit the brakes the switch would leak air and pop the wire off but I will recheck the air pressure tonite and the brakes seem to work great

Ok, then take the small Allen plug out of the air cylinder end plate and then push the brake pedal. See if it blows brake fluid out. Brake fluid getting in there messes with the brake switches too.

Failing that check the wires. Mine were out and I found a "field repair" splice in the wire that had come apart. Good luck.

Just for kicks and grins, did you check the bulbs?

If your turn signals work on the rear, your bulbs are ok

the bulbs are good I'm a firm believer in the KISS method , so I will start with is there air , and ck the new part for at that port and the "new"part for faults

Yep, jump the two brake switch wires and your brake lights should come on, if not check your grounds.
