Anybody have source for the "plastic" fuel hose? Please help. The actual nomenclature; a source to procure it from? Did you find the source for the plastic fuel lines? I need to replace all from the fuel pump outlet to secondary filters all the way back to the hydraulic head overflow and the FDC inlet. The TM 9-2320-361-20P section ll fiqure 17 says tubing, made from tubing P/N TD2.57420 with a part number and with an SMR code and a CAGEC number. Basically indecipherable to me.
So far I have not found where to by the "plastic" hose. It has all been cut and jury riggerd and leaks.

Use DOT air brake line. Use inserts and standard ferrules.

A search for "fuel, ferrules, inserts, line" shuold pull up some threads on this.

Frank, there is an Amazon Hose and Rubber in Miami that will likely have anything you need, hose, fittings, ferrules, and all. Good luck.

Doghead, Thankyou for information leading to successful restart of my deuce. I want to post the information that I have learned and am unsure if I whould put it on some other thread or my original "M35A2 Deuce fix it" thread.

Now I have a SS website question.
I am unsure if I am viewing all the replies the site says I have to the "M35A2 Deuce fix it" thread.

How do I set it for emails notification so I can see the replies or do I go to the thread and view them some other way?

Deuce front end steering wheel to tie rod

Has anybody replaced the steering box and or related parts on a M35A2 from the steering column all the way to the tie rod ends?

There is not so much on SS that I can find about the steering components.
This truck steering shaft was cutoff and I need to know what to do to put it back.
Even if the parts were free would this be possible for one guy to do in the yard?
I have seen all the TM's and it looks doable
I solicite comments.

I guess you have a cylinder on the axle for steering? Yes you can replace the steering box by yourself. You will need to jack the engine over to get it out. Nice pump set up.

motor air Wipers Windshield green two each

M35 A2 1969 Deuce wipers only sort of work sometimes.
Have new arms and wipers and have adjusted pressure on glass.
Have dissassembled reassembled both air motors .
No workie good.

No money no inclination to go with electric wipers

So I just have to ask everybody on SS................
Does or has anyone have air wiper motors that really work?
Many members drove these trucks when NEW.
So did I but never once had to use the wipers.
I have no reference to what they shouled run like.
Has anyone repaired them?
I see new ones for 75 bucks each.
Does anyone have any used or takeoff that I can try to fix?

Where it is so far is there is nothing wrong with the driven part or the O-rings
but the secret is in the primary air input head. There is fragile cork gaskets in there and I did not disassemble that part.
Is there rebuild kits out there someplace?
Reminds me of my '55 chevy. I just went down the line of 30 or so of them and took all the wiper motors. I just swapped them out until I got a good one. Had no money then, same now.
I have to fix what I got.

Anybody know where rebuild kits, used motors, or cheaper new motors can be had?
I pictured what I did so far.

now this is interesting. Like how did we get to MIL_PRF_10924G and where do I buy it and how come bearings fail on the Deuce but not on the chevy

I have air operated wipers on my deuce. Not thrilled with them. The only thing consistent about them is how inconsistent they are in operation. So needless to say, I tend to operate the truck on days when it doesn't have any rain in the forecast.
