M35a2 - Did not serve - Is painting with military colors disrespectful

I tell people who ask that no, I did not serve. This is my tribute to, way of thanking, and showing pride for those who did.

I've had several veterans thank me for that, when truly I am the one who should be thankful for what they did for me.
