There is a M36A2 at SECO www.secoaugusta.com

All they say is
.
M36 long wheel base 2 1/2 ton 6x6
18 foot bed $12,500 with warranty and hard top
Was hoping someone close by could give it a personal look for me.

I asked for details via email

Would like more details on this vehicle.
Including verification of bed length, I thought they had 16' beds not
18' though 18' suits my needs better.
So far I got
Every army issued M36 had a 18' bed
I'll be a little more specific next time
What should I ask about?
For the asking price I would think it must be in near perfect condition

If you plan on useing it to haul loads MAKE shure to check for rust between the frame and the dubler. Mine has real bad rust in this area but I don't plan on use for much more than show. The dubler runs from just in front of the rear axles up to around the eng. That the only thing that I know of M36 specfic. the book shows it to be 65" longer than the M35. hope this helps.

There is one of these at an equipment yard in Claxton, Ga. Has not been run in 4 or 5 years and does not look as clean as this truck. He was asking $8000.00 which I thought was to much. Anyone interested I can check it out.

Well, truth of the matter is the M36 bed is 17' =/- an inch or so. Looks like a nice truck. Did you want it as a collectors piece or to work?

:ditto: If they can't take the time to answer a few basic questions, they certainly WILL NOT take the time to help you with a problem. Good luck on your hunt....I'll keep an eye out for you.

Problem with SECO is they don't deal well with collectors over the phone or via email. Show up and they will talk but other than that, dunno.
